Offer, trial, and automatic renewal
GoalCoder provides one full-feature individual monthly subscription. The first 14 days are the trial. Checkout collects a payment method, charges nothing at signup, and displays the first charge date. Unless you cancel, the subscription then renews automatically at a tax-inclusive USD 19 per month.
The subscription includes both provider adapters, both runtime modes, the complete GoalCoder workflow, and compatible application and workflow updates. There is no permanent free tier, annual or lifetime plan, team plan, provider add-on, run meter, or separate activation purchase.
Stripe/Link acts as merchant of record for the customer transaction and provides payment processing, invoices, transaction support, and subscription management. GoalCoder provides the application, software licence, account, activation, and product support.
Provider and Mac requirements
GoalCoder requires your own compatible, logged-in Codex or Claude Code CLI access. One provider is enough; access to both is not required. Provider subscriptions, usage limits, terms, and charges are separate from the GoalCoder price.
GoalCoder v1 supports Apple silicon macOS. Windows, Linux, Intel Mac, and Mac App Store distribution are outside this licence.
Individual licence and permitted use
The subscription grants one natural person a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use GoalCoder on up to three Macs for repository work that person is authorized to perform. That work may be personal or professional and may include commercial software development.
The licence does not limit repository count or run count. You must not share, transfer, rent, resell, sublicense, or publish the GoalCoder account, activation material, updater credentials, or application. This individual subscription does not permit shared credentials or multi-user use.
Cancellation, refunds, and consumer rights
You can cancel through Link. Normal cancellation takes effect at the end of the current trial or paid billing period without automatic proration. Cancelling during the trial before the first charge date prevents monthly billing. A scheduled cancellation does not remove access before its effective end.
Refund requests may begin with Link support or GoalCoder support. Duplicate charges, accepted refunds, disputes, Stripe/Link's merchant-of-record refund authority, and all statutory consumer rights remain effective. A full refund normally cancels the subscription and ends new-run access; it does not delete retained local work.
GoalCoder is digital software, not a physical product, so there is no physical return process. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts a remedy, right, or liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Delivery, updates, and compatibility
When public release opens, GoalCoder will be delivered for macOS as a Developer ID-signed and Apple-notarized DMG. Release information will state the tested macOS requirement, digest, release notes, and installation guidance. Older immutable release objects may be retained for evidence and bounded support, but GoalCoder does not promise public downgrade access, backward-state compatibility, or automatic downgrade. Installer access will be separate from entitlement to start new runs.
A valid trial or paid entitlement allows new runs. Compatible application and workflow updates are included while the subscription is active. GoalCoder does not promise perpetual updates, lifetime access, provider availability, or compatibility with every future macOS, Codex, Claude Code, Docker, or repository-tool version.
How GoalCoder works and your responsibilities
GoalCoder packages a disciplined coding-agent workflow. It does not guarantee perfect code, a successful provider response, or that generated work is fit for your intended deployment. You remain responsible for the product decisions in your request and for reviewing, accepting, merging, deploying, and operating any changes.
Local trusted uses a separate GoalCoder edit workspace but provides no host isolation. Sandboxed provides stronger host isolation when configured. Providers and repository tools operate under their own terms and may use network services. You are responsible for having authority to use the selected repository and for complying with applicable law and third-party terms.
Quality, liability, and service changes
GoalCoder does not remove statutory guarantees that digital content is of satisfactory quality, fit for a disclosed purpose, and as described, or the statutory remedies that apply when those standards are not met.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. GoalCoder is not responsible for losses caused solely by a provider, repository tool, or service outside GoalCoder's reasonable control, except where the law makes GoalCoder responsible.
End of access and termination
When a trial or paid entitlement ends, GoalCoder blocks new runs. Existing local runs, workspaces, artifacts, logs, and handoff evidence remain on your Macs. Account closure cancels any current subscription, revokes server-refreshable activations, and leaves those local files untouched.
GoalCoder may suspend or end access for material breach, unlawful use, credential sharing, a payment dispute, or another lawful reason. Ending access does not remove rights or obligations that arose before termination.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by English law. If you are a consumer, that choice does not remove mandatory protections of the law where you live, and you may bring proceedings in any court that applicable consumer law permits. Contact support@goalcoder.com first so GoalCoder can try to resolve a concern.
